Western Mountaineering NanoLite

Ultralight, super-packable down quilt; 38° F

The Western Mountaineering NanoLite is a super-lightweight down quilt rated to 38° F. Perfect for summer backpacking or traveling, this quilt packs down ultra-small and has elastic cords to couple the pad to most sleeping pads (pad sold separately). Now updated with more breathable 12D fabric.

The NanoLite is designed with a set of adjustable and removable pad straps that are compatible with any backpacking sleeping pad. When no gram can go unaccounted for, the straps can also be removed. Other features include a sewn-through footbox and an insulated draft yoke with elastic closure for maximum heat retention.
Because the NanoLite is hoodless, it is important to pack adequate head insulation. The NanoLite is designed for above freezing so a beanie and neck gaiter will probably do.
This quilt is designed to be used with an insulated sleeping pad. If your sleeping pad is uninsulated or poorly insulated this quilt will sleep much colder than intended. Make sure to check the R-value of your pad to ensure it is adequate for 3-season use.

The NanoLite come in two lengths; the 5’8″ version is designed for users at or below 6’0″ tall and the 6’4″ version is designed for users between 6’0″ and 6’6″.

Like all Western Mountaineering quilts and sleeping bags, the NanoLite is made by hand in San Jose, California. Their down is sourced from free-range mother geese who are never live-plucked or force-fed.
